The Senior Experience

From first outfit idea to finished artwork on your walls

We limit the number of seniors we photograph so we can design an experience that feels effortless for parents and empowering for your senior. Every detail is guided...from wardrobe and locations to how you’ll enjoy your images after the session.

01 · Style & Planning

Wardrobe & locations, fully thought through

We start with a design call to understand your senior’s personality and how you’d love to display the images. Then we plan outfits, studio looks, and outdoor locations that feel authentically them... city, nature, or both.

02 · Session Day

Guided posing, genuine expressions

We create a relaxed, editorial-style session with music (in studio), movement, and plenty of direction so they never wonder what to do with their hands. Choose in-studio, on-location, or a hybrid session with multiple looks.

03 · Design & Artwork

Albums, wall art, & digital collections

Meet in the studio or virtually to choose favorites. We’ll design custom albums, statement wall portraits, and curated digital collections so you leave with finished pieces, not a to‑do list.

Heirloom Products

Artwork that looks as good in 20 years as it does on session day

Every collection includes a creative session fee and access to our full product line. You can choose from luxurious albums, handcrafted wall portraits, and carefully edited digital images.

Senior session FAQs

If you’re wondering about something you don’t see here, we’re happy to answer it on your consultation call.

When should we book senior portraits?

Most families book 3–6 months before they’d like their session, especially for peak fall and spring dates. This also ensures we have time to design and deliver albums and wall art before graduation events.

Do you offer hair and makeup?

Yes. We work with trusted professional hair and makeup artists who specialize in natural, age‑appropriate looks. You can add styling to any collection, or we can share recommendations if your senior prefers to work with their own artist.

Can we do both studio and outdoor locations?

Absolutely. Our Luxe Hybrid and Heirloom collections are designed for a mix of studio and on‑location portraits. During planning we’ll map out the best order of locations and outfits so the whole experience feels seamless.

What if my senior feels awkward in photos?

That’s completely normal—and it’s our job to guide them. We use simple, easy direction and movement‑based prompts so they can relax, then refine posing so every image is flattering and natural.

Do we have to choose our products before the session?

No. We’ll talk about how you’d like to enjoy your images during planning, but you won’t finalize anything until your ordering appointment when you’ve seen the photographs and we design albums and wall art together.
